About Us
The South Wales branch of the Digital Imaging Group is part of the Royal Photographic Society.
The Digital Imaging Group Regional Organiser (DIGRO) for South Wales is Maureen Albright ARPS
All are welcome to attend our RPS meetings in South Wales.

The main aim is to promote and develop all branches of digital photography.

Meetings are organised by volunteers who endeavor to create a friendly environment where the sharing of expertise, techniques and knowledge is encouraged.


RPS Regions and Special Interest Groups
The RPS is organised into Geographical Regional Groups and also into Special Interest Groups.

There are 19 regions around the UK which meet regularly, publish newsletters and organise local events. The South Wales Regional Organiser is Harold Grenfell FRPS

There are 15 special interest groups including the Digital Imaging Group, which is currently the largest of the RPS special interest groups.

Around 200 RPS workshops and seminars are held all over the UK which are run by experts, who are often celebrity photographers. Overseas members are also extremely welcome and may participate particularly effectively in the web site activities and discussion groups.
